Island Peak(6,189m) also known as Imja Se is a mountain situated in the Sagarmatha National Park in Eastern Himalayas of Nepal. The peak was named Island Peak by the members of British Mount Everest expedition as it appears like an island in a sea of ice. It is one of the main climbing peaks in the Everest region. This expedition is a popular alternative among novice climbers who are into their mountaineering journey. This expedition promises an unforgettable climb with breathtaking views, highly glaciated west face due to its stunning location in the heart of the Chhukung valley. The climb is a bit tough to do and can be mentally and physically demanding but it is worth your efforts.
